Things I Bought That I Love: Lillian Crystal Necklace

For a little more than a year now, I’ve been following Yasi, the fashion blogger Hello Gorgeous on Instagram. She’s definitely been a style inspiration to me and I’ve always been especially obsessed with her necklaces.

Recently, Yasi announced the opening of her store, Hello Gorgeous Boutique—which sells the iconic necklaces she wears!

I snatched up the Lillian Crystal Necklace, available for $28, from Hello Gorgeous Boutique. Get yours here.

Things I Bought That I Love: Beyoncé Pin

There are few things I love more than Beyoncé.

And, there are few things I love more than The Office.

So I honestly couldn’t resist adding this pin to my collection.

The pin is from Heartificial on Etsy and featured adorable packaging, including a personalized note on the envelope that read, “Thank you Crystal. I hope you wake up every day feeling like Beyoncé. Have the best day ever! I believe in you!” (Totally made my day.) I’m already coveting this Pawnee Goddesses pin and this Luke’s Diner pin.

Friday Favorites #11

Technically, everything in my list this week is a DIY, but we’ll start with this from Momtastic—it’s a giant game of Yahtzee for the backyard! I’ve never seen anything like it, but the dice seem easy enough to make, and I’d kind of love the option of playing when I have family over.

In nail art

If loving nails intentionally painted to look like sprinkle doughnuts is wrong, I don’t want to be right.

In accessories

I love the look of this necklace, from the color blocking to the bow. Polka Dot Chair has a great tutorial to make your own using felt balls. So cute.

In beauty

While searching for ideas for what to get my mom for Mother’s Day, I found this citrus sugar scrub from from Delia Creates. The printables are probably my favorite part, but I also love that this sugar scrub is pink and smells like grapefruit, lemon, or orange!

What are your Friday favorites?

Things I Bought That I Love: Gloves

It’s been a rough winter, and my old mittens were proof of that. They were cheap, $7 knitted mittens from Old Navy that had started unraveling sometime near the second snow storm this season. As someone who’s notoriously cheap, I had trouble making the plunge and spending more than a couple of bucks on gloves… but I really wanted to feel warm and stylish. So I picked up these gray gloves from Amazon, of all places, and I love them! They’re much cuter (and warmer) than my old pair, and they have an adorable anchor button detail. They match my gray coat and scarf perfectly. You can buy them here.
